MOSCOW, Aug 20 (PRIME) -- The combined net profit of Russian banks jumped to around 131 billion rubles in July from 70 billion rubles in June, the central bank said in a report on Thursday.
In January–June, the net profit of Russian banks amounted to 761 billion rubles.
Corporate lending grew 1.6% in July mainly thanks to lending to several large companies.
Retail deposits rose by 0.3%, corporate deposits decreased by 0.2%.
